Ever since Kai's first birthday we have been trying to get some more 1 year old pictures. I had a great idea for a photo shoot at a nearby orchard with props and a corporative Kai. But with only a week left for me in Charlotte, we had to settle for snapping a few shots in the backyard with a hungry Kai right before lunch.
The shoot was brief so hopefully we will have a chance for the my idea sometime in the future. But we did get some fun shoots even though the sunny afternoon provided unwanted shadows and Kai wasn't too sure about sitting on the rocking chair.
I can't believe he is over a year now! I am such a spoiled "Tia" since I get to play with this handsome little man everyday. It has been such a blessing being relatively close to Kai, Lani and Brian and to be a part of his first year of life. I am thankful for another year of living within driving distance of them, but I don't know what I will do when I live far away from my Kai man.
